Docs Who Rock has grown into a
widely recognized, successful signature event for United
Way. Local physicians show off their musical talents, either
as solo acts or as part of a group, in this entertaining
annual show that draws medical personnel and patients as the
majority of the audience.
United Way
of Summit County is a recognized leader in community
philanthropy. Surveys have shown that more Summit County
residents are aware of United Way than any other non-profit
in the area*.
Across the country and locally, United Way is one of the

Nearly 2,000 tickets were sold for each of the 2007, 2008
and 2009 shows held
at E.J. Thomas Hall. Dr. Terry Gordon, retired top cardiac
surgeon, is a co-founder of this event.
Promotion of this event is on radio and
in print advertising, and DVD copies of the show are produced
and sold, giving additional and permanent recognition for
sponsors.
